Privacy Policy

This policy covers what we collect on yaowseamoss.com and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what’s needed to fill your order, we never see your card number, and we don’t sell your information.

What we collect

• Order details — name, shipping address, email, phone, and what you bought, so we can make and ship your order and email you about it (confirmations, shipping notices, and a review request after delivery).
• Payments — processed by Square. Card numbers go directly to Square and are never stored on our servers. Square’s own privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device). This uses cookies; the data is aggregated and doesn’t identify you personally.
• Messages — if you contact us or request wholesale pricing, we keep the message to reply to you.
• Started checkouts and signups — if you enter your email at checkout but don’t finish, we send one reminder about that checkout and nothing more. If you join the restock or recipe list, we email you only what you signed up for; every such email tells you how to get off the list (or just reply and we’ll remove you).

What we don’t do

We don’t sell or rent your information. We share it only with the services that operate the store: Square (payments), our shipping carriers (delivery), and Google (analytics).

Your choices

Email [email protected] to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted (order records we’re required to keep for tax purposes are the exception). You can block analytics cookies in your browser without affecting checkout.
