How to choose a sea moss gel

Every jar here starts with the same organic Purple African sea moss, wildcrafted off the East African coast, lab-tested, and blended after you order. The choices are size and flavor, and both are simpler than they look.

Flavored or unflavored? Unflavored is the base: nearly neutral, a faint ocean note, and it disappears into smoothies, oats, tea, and soup. Flavored jars (Mango Passion, Strawberry, Blackberry, Lim'n on de Beach) are the same gel blended with real fruit purée, for people who want to eat it by the spoon or who quit sea moss once over taste. Ingredients are on every jar, and there is nothing else in them.

16 oz or 32 oz? A 16 oz jar lasts about a month at a tablespoon a day, roughly two weeks at two. The 32 oz jar costs less per ounce and suits households or heavy smoothie weeks; both keep three to four weeks in the fridge, so buy the size you will finish. Each product page shows the exact per-ounce math.

How much per day? Start with a teaspoon for the first week, then one to two tablespoons. More is not better because of iodine; the full guidance is on how much sea moss per day, and the honest safety notes are on sea moss side effects.

Frequently asked questions

Does sea moss gel need to be refrigerated?

Yes, from the day it arrives, sealed or open. It keeps three to four weeks in the fridge and about three months frozen in cube trays. Ours ships cold with dry ice included.

What does sea moss gel taste like?

Unflavored is nearly neutral with a faint ocean note and a smooth texture; flavored jars taste like the fruit first. Tasting notes for every format are on the taste page.

Is flavored gel sweetened?

Only by the fruit purée, except Lim'n on de Beach, which adds a little agave. The ingredient line on each jar is the whole label.
