Wholesale sea moss for shops, juice bars and gyms

We sell wholesale to shops, juice bars, gyms, studios and restaurants, mostly around Houston but anywhere in Texas and beyond by cold freight. It is the same product as the retail shelf: made to order in our Houston kitchen from organic Purple African sea moss, lab-tested, and shipped cold. There is no separate wholesale formulation and no longer-life version, because the thing that makes it good is that it is fresh.
How do I open a wholesale account?
Send the application below with your business details. Joel reviews each one himself, usually within two business days, and will email you if anything needs clarifying. Approved accounts get a portal for ordering, order history and printable invoices.
Who this is for
If you are reselling to your own customers, serving it in a cup, or putting it on a shelf, this is the right route. A trade account exists so we can talk about volume, delivery days and lead time properly rather than through a retail checkout.
If you are buying for one household, even a large one, the regular shop is cheaper and faster for you. Cases of 24 bottles and the 1 lb raw bag are already on it, and no account is needed.
What we can supply
- Refresher cases, 24 bottles of one flavour, or a mixed case. These are the most common trade line.
- Sea moss gel, 16 oz and 32 oz jars, flavoured or unflavoured. Unflavoured is what kitchens usually want.
- Raw sea moss by the pound, for anyone making their own gel on site.
- Frozen pops, where you have freezer space at the other end.
Everything is perishable. Gel and bottles keep three to four weeks refrigerated, pops need a freezer, and only the raw moss is shelf-stable. Plan your par levels around that rather than around a quarterly order.
How the account works
- You apply with your business name, address and, if you have one, a resale or tax ID. That ID is how we verify a trade account quickly; without it we will just ask a couple of questions instead.
- We review it. A person reads every application. If it is not a fit we say so and why, and you can still buy retail.
- You get a portal. Sign in, order by the case, see every order you have placed and print an invoice for any of them. Purchase order numbers carry through to the invoice if you use them.
- Terms are set per account. Rates, minimums and delivery cadence get agreed with you rather than assumed. Until we agree something different, an approved account pays the published price with no minimum.
Lead time, honestly
Nothing is made in advance, so a wholesale order behaves like any other order: it is made after it is placed and ships cold Monday through Wednesday. Order early in the week to have it that week. For standing weekly or fortnightly volume, tell us and we will build the production slot in, which is the main practical benefit of an account.
Questions we get asked
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Rates are set per account after we understand the volume and cadence, not published as a blanket tier. Approved accounts start on published prices, and your rate appears in the portal once it is agreed.
Is there a minimum order?
Not by default. If we agree a minimum with you as part of your terms, the portal shows it and reminds you at order time.
Can you deliver in Houston rather than ship?
For Houston metro addresses, yes, on the same Monday to Wednesday cadence. Outside the metro it is cold freight from Houston.
Do you private label?
No. Every jar and bottle goes out as Yaow Seamoss, with our name and our lab results behind it.
Can I see a lab result before I commit?
Yes, and you should ask any supplier that. How we test explains what is tested and at what stage; ask and we will send the current result for the batch you would be buying.
